If you live in the city and you have a cat, the litter robot is a must have. Actually the litter robot is a must have no matter where you live!
The globe automatically starts turning about 10 minutes after your cat uses it and dumps the poo or pee into the receptable at the bottom. This saves a ton of litter. You can also line the receptacle with any large grocery bag.
I had the littermaid once upon a time, but litter got everywhere and changing those receptacles was pretty nasty.
The litter robot is quite pricey - I paid more for the bone color than the black one, and s&h was a fortune… but it was worth every penny.
Smokey the cat loves it too.

l wish j could train my dog to do that…
that’s really cool. we have one of those old litter box with a roof over it but tigger is too much a fraidy cat to use it with the roof overhead so we had to take the roof off.
Can you train a dog to use that??! Doh…

I don’t get it, the cat backs halfway into that contraption? Or fits itself inside the whole thing?
