  •  Even though I wasn’t satisfied the last time I sent out our laundry, I decided to try out another laundry place that’s a block away.  We get our dry cleaning done there and it’s run by Koreans which makes me feel kinda better ‘cuz it’s kinda like my mom doing my laundry.

I wasn’t happy with the folding job – they folded it to accomodate the size of the bags they put the laundry in.  But then again I’m super anal/picky when it comes to folding laundry.  I don’t really mind refolding it myself.  I don’t know if it’s my imagination, but the clothes seem to be more faded than when I do it.  Oh well… I honestly don’t have the time to go to a laundromat once a week so we’ll prolly use this place for our laundry.

I dropped off a blanket yesterday and they charged me $20 — I think it cost me $25 when I bought it.   I guess I’m washing all my own blankets from now on.

  • I’m like you, I need my laundry folded a certain way.  I also don’t like other people touching my things.

  • getting my dry cleaning done always surprises me… the biggest shock was the wedding dress for $300.00 :@

  • do you send out ALL your laundry?  including bras, panties, everything?  I’m just wondering cause I’ve never even had to consider sending mine out, so I don’t understand…

  • my goodness- I never realized not having a W&D was such a lucky thing!!! and re: always ss’ comment- unless you live in NY, I don’t think you’d understand sending out laundry….

  • this has seriously got to be a ny thing because i cant imagine sending out my laundry.  and i would just be too paranoid that some of my things could get lost and i’d never even know about it.

  • I HATE the laundrymat

  • just thought you might want to check this out: http://www.storehouse.com

  • hello!  i’ve been reading weddingbee and koreancooking for a while….your posts about food and clothing and everything always make me drool.  i like what you’re doing here, especially since i like things at home just so.  the only thing i don’t like about full-service laundry is they often dry clothes on too-high heat.  otherwise, they’re great.
