Now that we have our coffee table/dining table, we need to decide on a sofa and buy a color coodinating living room rug before my parents get here. We also need to buy:
mirror for over fireplace (Crate & Barrel had some nice and reasonably priced options)
loft bed (looking to get this custom made)
mini freezer (I freeze everything and our freezer is too small)
2 bookcases/desks
1 chair for Mr. Bee
stackable/foldable dining chairs
Our filled to the brim bookcases are really overwhelming the living room so we’re going to get rid of at least half our books. I’m considering buying these leaning desks & bookshelves from Crate and Barrel. They have a nice open layout and take up minimal space so Mr. Bee and I could both have one. Plus they’re on sale right now for $129.

Everybody I know seems to be getting that set (me included). It’s pretty sturdy too.
ooh. i got those for my new place too! very practical and modern looking..the only thing is, i had no clue until i got them that you hang it on a nail on the wall for support…
vary modern looking but impractical. They look so fragile; I feel if I place my arm to rest on the table, the entire thing till tilt forward
ooh i was going to get those leaning desk/shelves for my room! but it didnt match the wood of my bed and i’m anal about matching or at least complementing, which it didnt. my bedroom is still completely empty, with only a bed. i spend all my time in my office but i’d like to get something for my room and i dont know what. i need you to come over and redecorate for me!
I’d seen a lot of people getting the Crate and Barrel leaning desks & bookshelves. It looks very nice and modern because their apartments are huge. However, I personally wouldn’t get it because since I live in a tiny place, I wouldn’t get open bookshelves because your place might look very cluttered. But a designer Bee like yourself, I’m sure you’ll make any apartment look spectacular! Good luck!

Very cool! My mom has the leaning shelf system from Pottery Barn. It’s a little sturdier but I don’t think they have the desk option.
i love that set….too bad we don’t have a C&B here.
Don’t forget to take pictures of how your place look after you’re done. It most look amazing!!!
wow… didnt realize how everyone has the same set… we bought ours on sale too last year… seems like they’re keeping this piece around for good and not just seasonal.
