This may sound like a stupid question, but is everything unwrapped and put into one big container? Or are the items still in their wrappers but put into a covered container? I buy meat at Costco and divide it and seal it with a vacuum sealer then label it on the outside. Takes up less space then something with a lid but the items are flat and not on their side.

Deni55: you could do whatever u want! I have smaller servings of meat that’s still in its original packaging. I also have meat that I bought in bulk, separated into ziplock bags and then put them into the large containers.
For the most part, I separate all our meat into individual servings for 2 using plastic wrap. I lay them as flat as possible to make for easier defrosting. Then I just stack them all in order so I can always see what’s in the freezer.
